Green environment

Platteland Appartementen is located in the municipality of Kaag en Braassem, a beautiful green-blue municipality in the Green Heart. In the area you can enjoy the beautiful nature, the Kagerplassen and the Braassemermeer. Water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers can indulge themselves here.

Near Amsterdam and other major cities

Rijpwetering is located close to major cities such as Amsterdam, Leiden and The Hague. Within walking distance is a bus stop (line 56) to Leiden Central Station with a direct connection to Amsterdam, The Hague, Delft, Haarlem or Gouda. Ideal for a day trip, because you can be in most cities within an hour. Leiden is only 10 minutes away and has several interesting museums such as Boerhaave, Ethnology or Naturalis. You can also take a city walk with a guide.

Beach

For a walk on the beach or a visit to the boulevard, we recommend the nearby Scheveningen, Noordwijk or Katwijk. The seaside resorts are easily accessible by bicycle, car and public transport from Rijpwetering. For flower lovers, a trip to De Keukenhof  in Lisse is highly recommended.
